Comments: First time with the,. At check-in, recep asked me if I wanted points or breakfast. I opted for breakfast since my spouse was with me and two breakfasts are worth more than 500 points. Then, I asked if there’s any upgrade (prior to arriving at hotel, I had checked that Cool corner rooms and Suites were available). The receptionist look at the computer and then told me “let me confirm to you that your booking is a Wonderful Room only. Since it was just a night, I didn’t bother and replied him “Whatever”. And the buffet breakfast is below par for a 5 star Bangkok hotel. If Sheraton Grande Sukhumvit or Grand Hyatt Erawan is a 5/5, then i would rate W a 1/5. The good quality is poor even if the variety is similar to other 5 stars.

Comments: We had booked connecting rooms which meant no upgrades since the Marvelous Suites do not connect with other rooms. On our last night we asked for an upgrade to try it out, and it was granted.

Comments: I got an upgrade from the cheapest room to spectacular, which was confirmed on the website. While waiting for him to run a bunch of separate credit card charges, I looked on the spg app on my iPhone and saw avail for both studio (jr) and marvelous (1BR) suites.
