That, plus I had to string together three reservations, including the aforementioned PLT Guarantee night, which explicitly states ineligibility for an upgrade, meant I had zero expectation of anything more than the room I booked. They have a door that separates the entrance/WC from the bedroom, so in that sense, I guess we could call it a suite. However, they don't really have suites. Basically, if you snag a corner room (xx1), then you have the largest room on the floor. It's an extremely nice hotel and great value for what I've paid. It's a bit of a hike from the metro though (800m). Take the local amenity here.
