Comments: Arrived at 5 PM for the first night of a two-night stay at this property and wasn’t even upgraded to a Deluxe Room (available on the website) or a room on the SPG floor. Front desk said that they were placing me into one of their larger Superior (standard) rooms instead. Standard room wasn’t awful, but had a toilet that didn’t flush (until I fixed it myself), no tub, and no view. The next morning, I checked the US Grant’s website and saw that both Grand Deluxe rooms and Legacy Suites were available for the final night of my stay. I called down and asked to be moved into a Grand Deluxe Room, which the hotel accommodated after the room was clear. The new room had a much more comfortable bathroom, a Bose sound system, and a significantly better view.
