Comments: preupgraded several days in advance despite hotel being complete full. Nice hotel with lots of character and soul. Great location. Just wish there was a pool here in this summerheat.

Comments: Walked in without a reservation, as I wasn’t sure what parking charges would be (EUR 17, which is reasonable). Asked about avail, was told they were good, but got a better rate using the spg app, so I booked using my phone at the desk. Unfortunately their backend takes a long time to propagate this info to the hotel, even when the front desk guy called. Front desk offered me a drink in their bar (which was excellent). About 10 minutes later, checkin was done, and my luggage was waiting in my room. It’d be nice if they improved their backend, but great staff at the hotel make it not a huge problem. Would definitely stay here again.
