For our guests who are members of the Starwood Preferred Guest (SPG) program, we offer private key access SPG floors. Comments: Got room 1507 at check in. Went online and saw that there were deluxe and club rooms available. We had already settled into room so I didn’t inquire immediately. About an hour later when we were on our way to meet my brother for dinner, I asked at the front desk what room category we had. I was told that all rooms at the hotel were pretty similar and ours was a deluxe room. I said that I saw club rooms available on line, and she checked and asked if we wanted to move. I told her that we had already unpacked, but I just wanted to know. She offered 500 extra *points for the misunderstanding.

Comments: We were on the floor below the Club Floor rooms. Offered either the Deluxe room or a Club Room, but very close to the lounge. Chose the Deluxe as it would be quieter. The rooms were identical otherwise in terms of size and amenities. Perfectly happy with the upgrade, even if rather modest.
