Comments: I got the equivalent of a suite here (I think). They have a door that separates the entrance/WC from the bedroom, so in that sense, I guess we could call it a suite. However, they don’t really have suites. Basically, if you snag a corner room (xx1), then you have the largest room on the floor. It’s an extremely nice hotel and great value for what I’ve paid. It’s a bit of a hike from the metro though (800m). Take the local amenity here.

Comments: All of BCN was sold out over the weekend due to the Grand Prix and to a lesser extent the conference I was attending. That, plus I had to string together three reservations, including the aforementioned PLT Guarantee night, which explicitly states ineligibility for an upgrade, meant I had zero expectation of anything more than the room I booked. BRG stay: (no) Rather, I had to use the PLT Guaranteed Room Availability benefit and paid RACK the 3rd night, as well as near RACK the 1st and 2nd nights.
