Comments: Booked 4 days in King room and 2 more days in Standard room one of which was C+P and one pure points. Got a junior suite that I kept for six days and a nice bottle of wine as a gift, all this in the middle of Male Fashion week in Milan when the hotel was packed (no I am not a model!).

Comments: I had two stays and got the junior suite for the second one; on the first stay (four days) I had had a suite indicated in the app but it apparently sold before I got there (no reservation available once I arrived). So when I paid more I got less.

Comments: At the beatthetimer rate I am quite pleased. When I pay less, I get more here but they usually treat me quite decently now that they know me a bit.

Comments: (made two separate beat the timer reservations, one of three days one of four days, as I was not sure of my exact dates and wanted to lock in the price; SNAs were not allowed for the second reservation [who knows why] but when I was not preupgraded for the first one I decided to use some of my SNAs. They cleared at the first opportunity and so the 3 SNAs thus got me the junior suite for a week.) SNA requested: for the first three days

Comments: At first, my SNA request was granted. I got a junior suite confirmed. On the day of arrival, the spg ipad app shown that i was allocated to “presidential suite” instead of junior suite. Upon check-in (with the FD agent who was so cold and not friendly at all), i was given a junior suite on 4th floor. what a disappointment! So i called down to reception desk and asked for a room on higher floor, no need to be a suite. they finally moved me to new room on top floor with view of central station and pirelli tower, they said it was a junior suite, but the spg ipad app shown it was a grand deluxe room. Personally i’ll never stay at this hotel again for sure. not because of the story mentioned above, but because of the “hardware part” of hotel itself. I do prefer the modern hotel actually. Room Received: Grand Deluxe room on top floor (according to spg ipad app)

Comments: Not an extraordinary room but hey it was available at 10am after a night flight so I was thrilled; I usually get a suite/nice room here but why not use the SNAs; this time the system worked and I got the suite on the first day. Edited to add that this was the best service I have had at the Westin Palace; who knows if it was SNAs or the end of the year but they were exceedingly generous to me with multiple gifts. Breakfast is still a bit chaotic and it is a good but not perfect hotel but they were really nice .

Comments: Once again I was upgraded to a suite after arriving before 11am from a TATL flight that was available immediately. The hotel was pretty busy (many French guests attending some kind of meeting) so prices were a bit high but I was able to get two C+P days as part of the reservation which helped. They treat me well and I will be back.
