Comments: Upgraded at check in. Pleasant surprise as I am normally upgraded to a standard suite but occupancy appeared to be high (largely non-elite based on the short lines at elite check in), which could explain the extra upgrade. Platinum benefit included free breakfast at the club lounge for two (MOP200 value per person) and club access. Hands down one of the best Sheraton properties out there. Doesn’t hurt there are casino’s onsite where I won more than my fair share playing craps :D.

Comments: Interesting checkin experience. Got off the shuttle and was at reception, asked if the checkin at reception was any different from checkin in the lounge and was told no, but then when the host saw that I was a Platinum member, he changed his tune and had the bellman take my bags and escort me to the lounge. Very odd. Once I got to the lounge, without prompting or requesting one, I was upgraded from my cheapest available room to the Deluxe Suite, with a nice media room and 1.5 baths.
